Absolve

I'm sorry if i did that
I don't really mean to hurt u,
I don't really want to do..

I said that i wont,
But then i did.
I promise to keep,
But then i broke.

I've hurt you so badly,
So i say sorry,
Though i know sorry is not enough.
Coz i cause you so much...

With this simple lines...
I hope you'd understand.
So, can i ask you now?
Can we be friends?

Hidden

Bewildering hidden love
The more you forget
The often bear in mind
a mystic puzzle,
that cannot be denied

Wrong to talk about
wrong to say i have
keeps on crawling
crushing me within

But still im hoping
if a chance may come in
be able to tell
whats making bewildering.

XIII. "When I was one-and-twenty..."

When I was one-and-twenty
I heard a wise man say,'
Give crowns and pounds and guineas
But not your heart away;
Give pearls away and rubies
But keep your fancy free.'
But I was one-and-twenty,
No use to talk to me.

When I was one-and-twenty
I heard him say again,
'The heart out of the bosom
Was never given in vain;
'Tis paid with sighs a plenty
And sold for endless rue.'
And I am two-and-twenty,
And oh, 'tis true, 'tis true.

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I
—I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Kampay for Taybas!!

Ive been to Tayabas so many times, actually my godchild Zydrick is from Tayabas a certified tayabasin. If my grasp is right the first time ive been to Tayabas is when we sneak from our cheering practice. Its Fiesta at that time, so it means "my perya" lol.. rides... firts time to ride on a ferris wheel.
Every time i went their i can see that Tayabas really want to preserve its culture. I have seen its old spanish bridge the Puente del Malagonlong, the Tayabas Basilica, and some of its resorts like Grace Land... what a paradise...ive been their beacause of our teacher in NSTP, ahhm..if im not mistaken she is one of its members .Aside from this i still want to see more of Tayabas. I heard from my "kumare" that every fiesta they have a race... an interesting race that i want to witness they call it "karera ng mga buntis".. pregyy mommy race.. cool...Other one is the "Hagisan ng Suman" they do it to honor San Isidro de Labrador.Suman is the ritual of hagisan. It is cooked with great enthusiasm by tayabasin because for them it is an apportunity to share their properity. Bundles of suman are tied in a pabitin made up of a bamboo called Bagakay. And as soon as the image of San Isidro de Labrador passes by, the pabitin must be emptied of its abundance. They also have the Mayohan. See how Tayabas gives us an interesting treats. Kampay for Tayabas.!!!

Risk Management

Risk...risk.. "dangerisk"...

While surfing the web a found a definition of risk, it says that if risk is a noun or a transitive verb it can be define as a chance of injury, damage or insures loss, a hazard.....And we all know that every project has its own risky risk(hehehe). And sometimes we need to take that risk for it may lead to improvement, but still risk can also be define as our liability, so in order for us to not to take "too much" chances we might come up controlling risk or mitigating it or what we call "risk management". Just like what we(thesis proponent) are dealing with. Here are some of those risk and mitigation in order for us not to be always "on the rocks".

Risk Management

  • Lack of time management
-this can always lead to cramming
-to avoid this the proponents had a time schedule, a project plan. Different Project management methods are used such as PERT/CPM, milestone, gantt chart etc.
  • Scattered Works
-lead to un matched solution
-in order for the proponents to avoid this they always had a group meeting . Even if the proponents have different duties in the development they still encure that "what each did... eveyone must know".
  • Lack of Resources and Experience
- the proponents study the problems and agendas for them to flow smoothly.

Project Management

Introduction

In this generation technology is considered as necessity, thats why people tend to cope up with this demand.Business advertisings are now done online.
Regarding with this the proponents of STI Collage Lucena intend to come up with an Online Business Directory of Lucena City with CMS the lucenabiz.com.This will provide the means of online advertisement,a form of advertising that uses the internet and the World Wide Web, in order to deliver a marketing message and attract costumers. At the same time a business directory listing where business can have an online apperance, and a portal to locate it online.

PERT/ CPM

The Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) is a network model that allows for randomness in activity completion times. A PERT chart may have multiple parallel or interconnecting networks of tasks. If the scheduled project has milestones, checkpoints, or review points , the PERT chart will note that all tasks up to that point terminate at the review node. The project proponents of STI Lucena had use the said methods.

Sample of the PERT data base on the proponents project;

While Critical Path Method (CPM) charts are similar to PERT charts and are sometimes known as PERT/CPM. In a CPM chart, the critical path is indicated. A critical path consists that set of dependen tasks (each depedent on the preceding one) which together take the longest time to complete. Although it is not normally done, a CPM chart can define multiple, equally critical paths. Tasks which fall on the critical path should be noted in some way, so that they may be given special attention. One way is to draw critical path tasks with a double line instead of a single line.It is an important tool for effective project management.

Steps in CPM Project Planning

  1. Specify the individual activities.
  2. Determine the sequence of those activities.
  3. Draw a network diagram.
  4. Estimate the completion time for each activity.
  5. Identify the critical path (longest path through the network)
  6. Update the CPM diagram as the project progresses.
Milestone/Gantt chart

A milestone is the end of a stage that marks the completion of a work package or phase, typically marked by a high level event such as completion, endorsement or signing of a deliverable, document or a high level review meeting. While a Gantt chart is a matrix which lists on the vertical axis all the tasks to be performed. Each row contains a single task identification which usually consists of a number and name.
The proponents of STI Lucena usually use the gantt chart in managing their activities before they learn about the the other methods like the milestone. This two project management tools are proven to be very helpful specially in managing time, meeting deadline and catching up revisions of a certain project

S Curve
The S Curve is a well known project management tool and it consists in "a display of cumulative costs, labor hours or other quantities plotted against time".The name derives from the S-like shape of the curve, flatter at the beginning and end and steeper in the middle, because this is the way most of the projects look like.
The Figure below is a sample of the S Curve done by the project proponents of STI Lucena. ( not all s-curves are exactly 'S 'like it varies by its content) Here you can see the date when the project was started ,the assumption cost and the actual cost spend in the project.

WBS

A Work Breakdown Structure is a results-oriented family tree that captures all the work of a project in an organized way. It is often portrayed graphically as a hierarchical tree, however, it can also be a tabular list of "element" categories and tasks or the indented task list that appears in your Gantt chart schedule.

Role of WBS

The concept of WBS level is important as it allows you to designate the level of detail at which you report cost estimates and project cost performance figures. For example, to effectively manage a large project a senior manager typically needs summary details of cost variance at level 2. By contrast the team leader responsible for developing a level 2 software component needs cost performance reports at level 3.

The partitioning of the project into major components occurs at level 2. Components at this level fall into the following classes:

  • Project Service. Project services that apply to the entire project and cannot be allocated to a single deliverable item. Examples are, project management and quality management. In the case of design services the overall architectural design of a system is classed as a Project Service as it is used to discover what the components are. The detailed design of a single software component however is allocated to that component.
  • Hardware Component. A bill of materials breakdown of computer hardware.
